So, why did this even start?

Starting with an idea because of a physics lab, Khadicha Kosimjonova started STEM Seeds because she realized how much science “made sense” because of a lab. After not understanding a unit of physics, one lab opened doors for Khadicha to feel like she had a place in STEM. Growing up in an underfunded elementary and middle school, she did not have the opportunities of seeing science demonstrations like she did in high school. Far too late to have the privilege to explore science.
